The Brass Rail family restaurant has called a few different spots home; most recently they’d moved into the old Mike’s (a pizza type chain out of New Brunswick) in the Bedford Place Mall.
I am a huge fan of the Brass Rail’s pan fried haddock. Crisp on the outside, moist and delicious on the inside, the fillets would be so large they’d often be hanging over the ends of the plate.
Having a haddock hankering, I headed down there a couple of weeks ago only to see it closed up with a “for lease” sign where my fish utopia had been.
Guess I’ll just have to wait til they open somewhere else!
